La répétition ludique de plusieurs phrases et perspectives, forme une parodie du "bon sens" du monde occidental du XXIe siècle. Romance est une invitation à découvrir la reconnaissance, la répulsion et l'humour qui se créent lorsque vous autorisez une tierce personne à porter votre voix. Dans un cadre intime, Lígia Soares nous fait réfléchir à la façon dont nous pensons en tant qu'individus au sein d'un groupe, par le truchement des phrases ordinaires pour générer des liens entre elle et les membres du public.
• Lígia Soares est une chorégraphe et dramaturge portugaise. Après des œuvres telles que Romance, Turning Backs ou O Ato de Primavera, elle poursuit sa recherche sur la manière de créer des dispositifs scéniques qui incluent la présence des spectateur·ices comme un élément crucial du spectacle.
