BIO
Zebra Katz is the capstone creation of New York multidisciplinary artist Ojay Morgan. Inspired by Nina Simone, Andre 3000, Missy Elliot, and Lauryn Hill. Morgan has cultivated a signature and unique presence all his own. Having shared the stage with artists from Diplo to The Scissor Sisters, his live shows are not to be missed, and have been enjoyed by audiences worldwide.
It’s been a long journey for multimedia performance artist turned rapper and producer, Zebra Katz. Emerging from the same electro-tinged, fashion-aligned New York scene that also produced the likes of Lana Del Rey and Azealia Banks, the Brooklynite first came to prominence with “Ima Read,” a growled minimalist banger released by Diplo’s Mad Decent imprint in 2012. The video has since accumulated more than 2 million views on YouTube, while the track provided the sonic backbone for a Rick Owens show at Paris Fashion Week and landed remixes from the likes of Tricky, Azealia Banks, Gangsta Boo and Busta Rhymes.
In the years that followed he’s grown and grown. Zebra Katz has collaborated with Leila (Warp recs), released music through Mad Decent and the bass-centric Helsinki label Signal Life, as well as independently through his own label ZFK Records.

Mika Oki, is a multidisciplinary french-japanese artist living in Brussels. With a background of electro-acoustic and sculpture, her sonic and plastic work deal with notion of intangible spaces and the lost of reality marks. After have been selected by SHAPE Platform in 2018, she has performed and shown her work in European audiovisual festivals like Berlin Atonal, TodaysArt, SONICA, CYNETART, in Africa for Nyege Nyege Festival and recently in Algeria for Phonetics Festival. Using kinetic images, her music performances generate mind trips and body journeys through ambient sounds and abstract sound textures. While as a Dj, she breaks the sonic frontiers by traveling between IDM, bass music & grime. Her involvement in the electronic and experimental music scenes, and her desire to highlight the Belgian artistic community led her to become station manager at The Word Radio in Brussels.

MISSFITTE is a concept that focuses on giving visibility to women, both artists and audience, while remaining inclusive and having strong underground & queer components to it. We always target our promo to mainly women and LGBTQ+ communities, so it would be great if we can prioritize this segment when promoting the KFDA + Missfitte closing night. Please bare in mind that we're far from being exclusive (not even our lineups are always 100% women), so a general promotion towards anybody regardless their gender, sexual orientation or background is also alright, just not the priority. We simply want to tell women and other minorities: this space is yours and we'll do our best to make it comfortable, putting you in the center of the experience, and everybody else is welcome as long as they respect our policy.
