La Tricoterie, le collectif Balkan Brussels Jam et Kopanica ASBL vous invitent à une soirée festive autour des danses et musiques des pays des Balkans !

En première partie de soirée, découvrez quelques danses typiques des balkans lors d’un workshop d’initiation suivi d’un bal mis en musique par divers musiciens invités.

Les danses seront suivies d’un concert live et d’un DJ set aux sonorités balkaniques tziganes, klezmer... un voyage musical et une soirée de folie en perspective !

La Tricoterie, the Balkan Brussels Jam collective and Kopanica ASBL invite you to a festive evening around the dances and music of the Balkan States!

During the first part of the evening, discover some typical dances of the Balkans during an initiation workshop followed by a ball set to music by various invited musicians.

The dances will be followed by a live concert and a DJ set with Balkan gypsy and klezmer sounds... a musical journey and an evening to die for in sight!

*CONCERT : Kadrievi Orkestar***

In the Kadrievi family musical talent is passed on from father to son. Orkestar Braka Kadrievi was founded in 1923 in Macedonia and is led nowadays by young talented trumpettist Seven Kadrievi, who got many awards at the International Trumpet Festival of Guča. Their style bring the Balkans brass sound to a higher level, they feel most at home with the jumpy rhythms and with the blood, sweat and tear soaked melodies from their homeland, Macedonia. This all in a mix of traditional (gypsy) brass music and a modern sound from the last generation.

As a devoted music lover mnsr zér0 carefully built up a valuable collection of dance music treasures by years of research in all quarters of our planet. The sum of classic beatmatching and extremely diverse dance rhythms makes him a party dj producing a unique sound, developed under the Belgian music organization binair01. In his surprising sets greasy balkan winks at seductive gipsyswing, lethal ska contaminates jazz manouche, Arabian raps are fighting with uptempo klezmer. A real relief for lovers of thrilling and challenging dance rhythm variations.
